Did you know Galileo Galilei was born that year? And William Shakespeare?

Galileo would outlive Shakespeare by 26 years. (Galileo died in 1642; Shakespeare in 1616, making him only 52 at that time.)

Which makes the celebration of “500 years of Shakespeare” seem a long, long time away…
